How rewards are earned and released
Shop to Earn is not a giveaway layer. Rewards are tied to completed marketplace activity, so every BTCY Nugget has a clear source: a shopper purchase, a successful group, or a valid invite.
Base purchase reward
A shopper earns base BTCY Nuggets on eligible orders after payment clears, the order ships, and delivery is confirmed.
Group-buy reward
A group-buy reward applies when the required number of shoppers joins before the countdown ends and the order completes.
Leader reward
The shopper who starts or leads a successful group can earn an extra reward after all qualifying group orders are confirmed.
Invite reward
Invite rewards post only when the invited shopper places a qualifying order through the campaign or group link.
Reward status lifecycle
Pending
Order placed and payment held in escrow.
Qualified
Product, buyer, and campaign rules pass eligibility checks.
Locked
Group target is met, or solo order remains valid.
Released
Delivery is confirmed and the return/dispute checks pass.
Eligible activity
- The product must be marked as eligible for Shop to Earn or Group to Earn.
- The order must be paid through ShoperPal checkout and protected by escrow.
- Rewards are calculated on completed item value, excluding cancelled, returned, or refunded items.
- Group rewards require the group target and timer rules to be satisfied.
- Invite rewards require a valid share link and a qualifying order from the invited shopper.
